For the livelihood growth of the family, Unnati conducted baseline survey with potential beneficiaries of livelihood development. In our supporting area, most of the families are really backearded and living their life very hard. After the COVID-19, and its impact most of them lost work/job and daily wages work as well due to their life became very difficult for survival. Post covid impact remain the same for low income family as most business could not run in proper way. Many families doesn’t get work and hit their daily survival most difficulty.
Therefore, to reduce the post Covid Impact and to empower family for economic dependency, Unnati along with Usthi Foundation Switzerland plan for Livelihood Program for the same project area of CEEP. For livelihood program, Unanti organized livelihood training On 19th August, 2022 to livestock beneficiaries. Altogether 27 participants were participated in that training. The training was facilitated by Mr. Suraj Koirala, Veterinary technician of Thakre Rural Municipality, and Mr. Durga Bahadur Darji, Animal Health Technician at Thakre rural municipality. Both of them trained participants in very well organized way.

Moreover, Kimbu plants were distributed to each goat farming people and buffalo farming family for the grass to feed to their livestock. That grass is rapid growing and can cut twice/thrice a month in regular basis. It’s very easy to grow and survive in any kind of geographical location in easy way.
