Unnati distributed masks to students and teachers in 10 schools of Thakre Rural Municipality of Dhading district of Nepal. The masks were distributed under the Child Education and Empowerment Project (CEEP) in financial and technical support from Usthi Foundation. Project staffs also organized orientations to students on health, sanitation and COVID-19 prevention measures to students and teachers.
Students were divided in small groups and provided orientation following social distancing. Reading information materials were also collected from local health centers and distributed to students. Unnati has plan to continue similar orientations to students, parents and teachers on similar issues and other relevant issues.
