
Above 1500 Nepalese move abroad mainly in gulf and Middle East counties for their job. Labour migration is one of the serious issues for Nepal to take in to consideration for any development intervention, apart from promoting migrant worker’s rights. Nepal stood one of the top countries to receive remittance and has 25 percent contribution it’s GDP. On other hand, violation of migrant workers’ rights, minimum wages, accident and injuries including deaths are major issues for migrant workers. Kathmandu airport receives three coffins of dead bodies every day. Transforming basic education, skills and knowledge are very importance aspects in which UNNATI has been working in collaboration with local organization in different parts of the country.
