At Unnati, we firmly believe that development must be inclusive, equitable, and rooted in the realities of the communities we serve. Since our inception, we have been committed to ensuring a dignified life for all by fostering grassroots leadership, mobilizing local resources, and addressing the diverse and intersecting challenges that marginalize individuals and communities. Our approach has always centered on listening to people’s voices, amplifying their strengths, and enabling them to co-create sustainable solutions that reflect their aspirations.
Our projects, such as the Child Education and Empowerment Project (CEEP), the Rato Baltin Project, and other initiatives, are powerful examples of how strategic interventions in education, health, gender equality, and livelihood development can create lasting change. These initiatives not only meet immediate needs but also build long-term resilience by empowering children, women, and marginalized families through access to education, health services, and dignity-affirming support. The growing participation of local stakeholders, schools, and families in these programs reflects our shared vision of inclusive progress.
As Chairperson, I take immense pride in the dedicated Unnati team and our collaborative partnerships that make our mission possible. Our journey has shown that sustainable development is most impactful when led by communities themselves and supported through integrated, multi-sectoral strategies. As we move forward, Unnati remains deeply committed to expanding its reach, innovating our practices, and continuing to challenge inequality, ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of dignity, equity, and justice.
